Crossroads Track (CDTS)

Course Description

Spend three incredible months away from the daily pressures and responsibilities of life! We are offering a Crossroads Track to come alongside of Compassion DTS during our summer quarter. This will be a multicultural and multigenerational DTS experience.  You will be a part of the Compassion DTS as a Crossroads Track applicant and will have class and related activities as one school.  We will accommodate our students 35 and older with an age appropriate mentor and our teachings will be given to cover all generations. This is especially designed for people who are seeking spiritual renewal, vision or new direction. It is a unique opportunity to know God more intimately, to increase in godly character and to become involved in missions. The Crossroads Track has a 12-week lecture phase followed by an 8-week field assignment.

During the lecture phase, you will be immersed in a schedule that will offer you time alone with God, small group interaction, classroom teachings, study time, weekly outreaches, and ministry. You will also have free time for fellowship, personal study time and the opportunity to let it all soak in.

For the field assignment, come with us as we take God's expression of love to the nations and make Him known. Once the 12 weeks of lecture phase is complete, you will finish your DTS by taking what you have already learned and applying it in practice on the mission field. This field experience is designed to provide you with opportunities to use your professional abilities, natural talents and spiritual gifts as you live and minister in cross-cultural settings. The final week is spent back in Denver for debriefing, teaching and fellowship as you prepare to graduate.

Cost

$3,495.00 USD for the twelve week lecture phase. This cost includes tuition, food and housing. There is an additional cost for books, personal care and laundry money, extra activities and personal  snacks. Book fees will be range from $40-$55 dollars. Your tuition is due upon arrival.

$2,500.00 - $3,600.00 USD for the eight week international outreach phase including debrief. This cost includes airfare, visas, landing fees, meals, housing, travel fees, and additional outreach costs. Personal care and laundry money, extra activities, souvenirs, and personal snacks will be extra. Your first outreach payment of 50% will be due week four of your lecture phase.

Please keep in mind that the tuition and outreach costs for the Crossroads Track are not tax-deductible.
